With Stormblood just around the corner, I know that many gatherers may be hoarding their collectibles ready to power level. In this post, I'm going to go over the basic rotations used to obtain collectibles from Unspoiled Nodes. It's been a while since I did low level collectibles (Lv50 - 55), so while I will try to include rotations for these, they may not be 100% accurate.
These rotations all assume that you have your Perception for that particular node capped, and thus your Discerning Eye + Methodical Appraisal (referred to throughout this guide as DE+MA) will always do 172. They also assume that you have at least 600GP.
One thing to note about Gatherer Collectibles vs Crafter Collectibles is that gatherers want quantity, not quality. It is worth more EXP and scrips to gather more at the lowest collectibility than less at the highest.

Starting Out
Welcome to the wonderful world of collectibles! These are a very simple way to level up Disciples of the Land in the Heavensward expansion of Final Fantasy 14. Whilst I realise this guide is going out very very late into the expansion's life, there may still be new gatherers out there who would benefit from this information.
Initially, you want to be hitting two different items. For Miners, you want to be hitting Yellow Copper Ore (which spawns in Coerthas Western Highlands at 4am and 4pm), and Botanists will be after Old World Figs (which spawn in The Dravanian Forelands at 2am and 2pm). These are both consistently on the list of items needed at Rowena's House of Splendors, and so are the most ideal to mass gather at lower levels. Using this rotation, you can collect 4 of them at 250 collectibility.
The initial rotation will only require 500GP, so grinding these two items out until you have 600GP is a good way to start levelling.

Let's Get Some Scrips!
Although this rotation will only yield 3 items when you learn the move 'Single Mind' at Level 57, you can still use it to obtain most levelling items from unspoiled nodes up until the point that you can obtain Blue Gatherers' Scrips. For lower items, especially in cases where your Perception may not be high enough to hit the DE+MA cap of 172, it is better to take only two of the item by using Discerning Eye three times instead of twice. The scrips you obtain from this rotation can be used to buy the Level 58 Trailblazers' Set (now also available from Moogle quests), which will help you immensely from Level 58 to Level 60.At Level 60, you can also use this rotation to obtain the Counterfoil items (which were heavily nerfed to the ground from their original requirement) and buy Blue Gatherer Scrip tokens to buy scrip gear. These used to be obtained through Red Scrips, but were since changed to Blue Scrips. (Counterfoils are no longer required for DoL Scrip gear)
* As mentioned above, Single Mind only becomes available at Level 57. Before you learn Single Mind, you can either use Discerning Eye here to boost your collectibility more, or just ignore this step altogether. As long as your DE+MA hits 150 or higher, you can use Discerning + Methodical three times to obtain two items at minimum collectibility.
The most prominent Blue Scrip Nodes are the Morel and Cuprite nodes. These are always on your list for collectibilities. They both spawn in The Dravanian Hinterlands, but also both require flying to access. Morels spawn at 4am and 4pm and appear in Slot 7 of the list. Cuprites spawn at 2am and 2pm and appear in Slot 2 in the list. If you have both of these levelled to at least 56, you can hit both of these nodes for maximum scrips per half hour.

The Weekly Tome (That Used To Be Useful)
So long as you are geared with the HQ base 60 gatherer set and Adamantite tools, this rotation should be sufficient to obtain Red Gatherer Scrips. You want to start out with Chysahl Greens for Botanists and Adamantite Ore for Miners. Chysahl Greens spawn at 9am and 9pm at the north end of Coerthas Western Highlands. Adamantite Ore spawns at 11am and 11pm in Azys Lla. Both items can be found in Slot 6.
Unlike the Blue Gatherer Scrip rotation, there is some minor RNG involved in Red Scrips. This involves the move Impulsive Appraisal, which has a 30% chance to activate the Discerning Eye buff on your next appraisal. Because of this, I am going to add the "Discerning Eye Check" to the rotation. All this means is to check if you have the Discerning Eye buff active. If you do, you can use Single Mind to get an extra item. If you don't, you simply have to use Discerning Eye.
Remember, for the Discerning Eye Check:
Did Impulsive Appraisal give me the Discerning Eye buff:
If yes, Single Mind
If no, Discerning Eye

Aetherial Reduction for Aethersands and Zhloe's Rainbow Pigments
This is some pretty advanced stuff, and this rotation is a pain in the butt as it is heavily reliant on RNG. On normal ephemeral nodes if you get 0 Discerning Eye procs, you are unable to proceed. Because of this, I tend to stick to gathering the Rainbow Pigments on Attempts +1 or Attempts +2 nodes to ensure that, even without the procs, I can still get at least one item from the node.
The good news is, the rotation is designed so that, if you do not get the Discerning Eye procs that you need, you have wasted no GP and can simply aetherially reduce the dud items for crystals and clusters. Because it is difficult to break down the rotation without using a flow chart, I will post all four versions of it.
