NOTE/DISCLAIMER: This is not a definite list, and will probably have to be altered depending on your own personal needs. I designed this list to achieve a specific goal of no Grade 5 overmelds whilst coming as close to capping the stats as possible. Most of the pieces in this list are fully capped, but not all of them. I will say when a piece isn't capped completely, so you can adjust your melds accordingly. I will also state the meld caps according to Ariyala's gear calculator.
Meld List
I have no information on tools, and have yet to figure out melds that would be the most beneficial. It is currently not necessary to meld too much as the minimum stats you need to gather the best items (at time of this entry's publication) are 720 Gathering and 740 Perception. For now, I suggest augmenting the scrip tools (if you have them already), or if you know a specialist Blacksmith (or Carpenter if you're a Fisher) and can get the mats, ask them to make you both primary and secondary tools.

For the primary tool for now it just needs to be melded to be better than the Augmented primary tools. The stat differences if you've already melded your gear will be pointless. And the difference is so minor it's not worth bothering if you've already Augmented your primary tools. Save melding tools until they bring out stuff that needs higher stats. The stats given by above melds are way more than you need.
